Chapter 89

After spending the rest of the afternoon in town they walked back to their rented villa. Jon led Melody to the side of their house where the hot tub was outside of their bedroom.

Jon went inside to put their shopping bags away. When he came back, he found Melody in the lounge chair, big enough for two and went to join her.

He settled next to her and Melody moved closer to him, despite the heat. She rested her head on his shoulder and he wrapped his arm around her.

“We should leave if we want to make it to our dinner reservation.” Jon said after what seemed hours of peacefulness.
“We have dinner reservations?” Melody looked up at him.
“Yeah, in about,” he checked his watch on the arm, resting on Melody’s hip, “20 minutes.”
“What? I have to go change.” Melody got up and left to their bedroom, leaving Jon alone on the terrace.

Outside Jon waited for her to return only a few minutes later. “Gorgeous.” He said when he saw her in a red cocktail dress, with matching high heels. She was wearing the necklace he bought her earlier. “Now I have to change into something more decent.” He gestured to his plain white t-shirt. Melody looked beautiful he couldn’t go like this.

He got up from his chair and walked past Melody, inside their room. Melody watched him go to the closet; he pulled his t-shirt over his head.

Oh God, that chest, she wanted to feel it. The hard muscles, the soft grey hairs, she wanted to touch but he covered it up again with a blue shirt. He buttoned it up halfway, leaving his chest visible to her. He left the cuffs open and folded them twice, half up his wrist.

He felt Melody’s eyes on him and turned around, walking toward her. He gently cupped her cheeks with his hands and pulled her closer to kiss. Melody leaned in, kissing him back. As she wrapped her arms around him, his hands traveled down her back, to her buttocks. Covering each cheek, he didn’t feel any panty outlines.

Jon broke away from the kiss. “Are you wearing a thong?” He asked with a grin, knowing she wasn’t.
“Sure.” Melody smiled.

Jon groaned, he knew what that meant but hadn’t thought Melody would dare to do that. He liked the idea though, a lot. Maybe his growing dick liked it even more. It worked better with his after dinner plans. “Okay, let’s go beautiful.” He grabbed her hand and walked her outside again.

“Where are we going?” Melody asked when they left their house again. They had only gotten back an hour ago.
“A restaurant.” Jon said simply, he wasn’t going to tell her, it would be a surprise. He had planned it for Monday and had kept it perfectly secret to her and would keep it that way too.
“Which one?” Melody tried anyway. She had seen a few restaurants down their street that she liked.
“The one I made reservations at.”
“You’re not telling me are you?” She said a little bit annoyed now, she wanted to know.
“It would spoil the surprise, wouldn’t it?”

Melody shrugged, she still wanted to know but he wasn’t going to tell her so she didn’t ask further, it would be useless.

The restaurant Jon had picked out was only a few minutes walk away. It was part of a hotel and had a great menu.

At the restaurant the host led them through the room, past all the beautifully set tables. Each with a white table cloth and lit candles.

Melody started wondering where their table was when they walked out onto a terrace. It was a lovely evening and she liked the idea of dining outside on a terrace.

They walked down a small set of stairs and were walking on sand again. Melody’s shoes sunk away in the soft sand and she had to grab on to Jon’s arm to keep herself from falling when she first met the sand. Her grip loosened again when they continued walking.

Looking up from the sand as she could walk again, she was about to ask where they were going and saw a single table. Decorated the same as the ones in the restaurant, the candles already lit a few more feet from where they were.

The table was far enough away from the terrace, they would have their privacy during their dinner on the beach.

Jon pulled out her chair and helped her sit down.

When she sat, Melody kicked of her heels, now full of sand as Jon sat down across of her.

Jon ordered a bottle of wine and the host went back to the restaurant, telling them a waiter would come with their wine.

The sun was just starting its descent, their table was aligned with the sea and they could both watch it. It was a little dusk, but still light enough, which made it more romantic in Melody’s opinion.

They could watch it beautifully from where they sat while they enjoyed their dinner. Melody hoped they’d walk back on the beach to their house. It had been too long she’d had a walk on the beach. She shouldn’t have worn these shoes; she wouldn’t be able to walk home in them if they walked on the beach.
