Chapter 85

“Yes Romeo, I know you want to go.” Jon said frustrated. He wanted to ask the others what they wanted to do but Romeo kept interrupting him.

Finally Jon got around to ask the question. Just as Melody had predicted her boys wanted to go to the beach but thought dolphins would be pretty cool too. Stephanie and Jesse agreed with them.

Jon liked the idea of the beach too but he couldn’t change Romeo’s mind. The beach would have to wait for tomorrow.
“We can take both cars and if Sea Life isn’t cool enough you guys can come back here.” Jon suggested to Stephanie and J. Then he realized he didn’t know if J even had his licence, but he was 17, so Jon assumed he did.

They considered the idea for a second, then agreed.
“We have two cars?” Melody asked Jon surprised. Yesterday they had been picked up at the airport. She had seen the garage next to the house but hadn’t thought there was a car since they were close to town and they had a driver the day before.

Jon nodded. “In case this would happen or if the kids wanted to go out.” He explained. It seemed easiest to him to have two cars, the kids were old enough to go by themselves.

An hour later they were on their way to the Sea Life Centre. With three very excited children in their car Melody and Jon were glad it was only a 15 minute drive.

Romeo, Jake and Faith jumped out of the car as soon as Jon parked. They urged Melody and Jon to be faster when they took their time. Jon shook his head and Melody smiled at him. It was going to be a long day.

When they entered the part it wasn’t very busy. There were a few other people around but it was very calm.

Within minutes Romeo had found the way to the dolphins, ignoring all the rest. He pouted when the sign with the hours of the show said they still had to wait an hour. Disappointed he started to complain, he wanted to see them now.

A long day, Jon thought again. Jon tried to distract him by telling him about the other animals and fish they could go watch while they waited but Romeo didn’t want to.

Before Jon could try anything else, Stephanie grabbed her little brother’s hand and pulled him away. “Let’s find out if we can swim with the dolphins.”

Stephanie had seen one of the dolphins trainers and walked up to him with Romeo and asked if they could swim with the dolphin. The trainer showed them a piece of paper where they could sign up.

After they were signed up Romeo was happy again and agreed to see the other aquariums before the show started.

The little kids insisted on sitting in the front row. Melody and Jon had no choice but join them, hoping they wouldn’t get wet. It were only dolphins after all, they’re not that big, they wouldn’t splash the first 5 rows like orca’s did.

Their oldest kids were smarter and sat in one of the back rows at the top, far away from everybody else.

When the trainer came out and introduced the dolphins the kids were amazed to see them so close. They watched them perform their tricks; the children were amazed again with what the dolphins could do and how well they listened.

Jon and Melody sat in the middle with the children next to either side of them. They both watched how their kids enjoyed the show. Both thinking it was good they went today, it was pretty calm and great to see the dolphins and best of all, the kids were happy.

At the end of the show the dolphins came to the side of the pool to say goodbye, waving their flippers, it looked pretty funny. The trainer blew a whistle and the dolphins changed from waving to splashing the audience.

Jon watched Melody get wet, her blouse clinging to her skin. Her nipples tightened against the cold water. Only after a few seconds of watching he realized his t-shirt was drenched too. The kids were laughing with joy even though they were all wet too. He was sure the other kids were laughing at them now.

The dolphins and their trainer left the aquarium again and the audience started leaving. With everyone leaving they could hear their teenagers laugh behind them.

They hadn’t expected to get this wet while watching dolphins but it warm enough, the sun was already shining high in the sky and their clothes would be dry again in a little while.
“Now we don’t have to change our clothes to go swimming.” Romeo said happily. “Can we go now?”
Jon called Stephanie; he didn’t know what time they had to be there.

Stephanie made her way down to them and the boys followed her. “You look all wet, how did that happen?” She joked. “Maybe you should have sat a little bit higher up.” She smiled at her dad.
“Wise ass.” He muttered, he didn’t mean it bad, it was pretty funny after all. “When are we going swimming?”

Stephanie pulled out her phone, touched the screen a few times and looked up at him again. “In 15 minutes, so let’s go.”
The three little ones had immediately heard how long and were instantly ready to leave.
Stephanie led the way with the little ones close to her, the older boys behind them and Melody and Jon followed them. Jon took Melody’s hand while they walked and smiled at her, his eyes drifted off to her wet breasts again, he could see she was wearing the black bikini top he bought for her. He just wanted to take her blouse and bikini off and feel the soft skin of her breasts.
“Liking the view?” Melody asked.
Jon’s eyes flashed back up to meet hers, he smiled. “Loving it.” He said. “You think the kids would notice if we sneak off?”
Melody laughed, she hadn’t been able to keep her eyes off of Jon’s torso either, the wet t-shirt outlining his abs. “You can get me all wet again later.”
Jon groaned at her comment, thinking of the night before in the hot tub, all wet, in more than one way.
