Chapter 57

Thursday after work Melody didn’t have to hurry home, the walk wasn’t long enough to hurry on.

She walked passed Jon who was working in his office and went to the closet to pick her dress out.
She felt his arms wrap around her. “You didn’t say hi.” He gave her a kiss on her cheek.
“And that’s not a welcome home kiss.” She said turning around in his arms reaching up for a better kiss. “Are you showering with me?”
“Of course I am.” He took the dress from her and put it back, on the way to the bathroom he picked up two towels and met her in front of the shower undressing. He undressed himself and followed her into the shower.
“What time does it start?”
“7.”
Melody’s eyes widened. “7?! We have to hurry.” She turned around to grab the shampoo bottle on the rack, opening and pouring some of the liquid into her hand.
“We have 40 minutes before we have to leave.” He stepped closer to her, kissing her neck. “Relax.”
The feeling was too nice to resist and Melody gave in. He was still kissing her neck and she tried to reach whichever part of his face to kiss him back. She could feel him cup her ass, pulling her closer. She threw her leg around his ass to pull even closer. The shower was slippery and Jon had to hold her to steady her. He picked her up and guided his cock inside her, turning around so he could lean her against the shower wall. The cold tile wall made her shiver, Jon held her steady by her hips and she locked both legs around him. He drove inside her with great energy, trying to reach deeper, knowing he couldn’t but still did. Melody could feel his heart rate fasten against her chest as well as she felt her own fasten inside her chest. He buried his face in her neck, kissing her neck and shoulder. Melody did the same to him; she felt her release coming fast. She remembered his birthday, she reached down to feel his firm buttocks, softly feeling the taunt muscles. She lifted her hand and hit down. Just as she did, she felt his cum shoot inside her. He held her still, leaning against the wall.
“Wow.” He said, still against her neck.
“You can say that again.” Melody sighed in agreement, she unhooked her legs and put them back on the shower floor. The back massage she got from his last night had really helped, she was glad it did or shower sex wouldn't have happened.
“Wow.” He repeated, he pulled out at as Melody stood up and looked at her. “I bit you.” He said amazed, reaching to touch the bite marks in between her neck and shoulder.
She cringed when he touched it, still a bit tender. “Its fine, I hit you after all.” She said.
“Yeah you did.” Jon said looking over his shoulder trying to see his ass.
Melody looked for him and noticed the red hand print still there. “Oh,” she said painful, “and you have to sit all night.”
“Its fine, you on the other hand, will need another dress.”
She would need another dress, the dress had no sleeves and it would be visible. “I don’t have another dress here. I can wear a scarf, do you have a scarf?” She asked hopeful.
“I’ll find you something.” He kissed her a last time before continuing to shower.

They finished showering just a few minutes later, in a greater hurry to be on time now. Jon wrapped Melody in her towel and put his around his waist not bothering to dry off. He left for the dressing and looked around for some clothes Dorothea might have left behind, he was lucky and found a black silk scarf in a box.
“Does this work?” He asked when he walked back in to the bathroom.

A little while later Melody had her dress on and put the scarf around her neck, hiding the bite mark in her neck. She walked into the dressing room where Jon just started to put on his suit. He had taken the suit off the hanger and put it over a chair, he was bending over, getting to a lower drawer when she walked in.
“That’s a nice view.” She said, he turned around and looked up.
The dress looked just as beautiful on her as it did before. “That’s a very nice view too.” He told her. “You don’t get to watch me dress or we’ll be even later.” He said, bending down again to grab a pair of underwear.
“You do wear underwear? I always believed you didn’t and you kinda proved it too.”
“I don’t, I’ve been told it doesn’t look good in dress pants, so only when I wear dress pants.” Jon said showing her his tight pair of boxers and shooed her from the room.
Melody went back to the bathroom to add the final touches to her hair and make-up, she checked in the mirror and thought she looked good enough.

10 minutes later a driver held the door for them. Melody was getting nervous now, a public event with him. People will be taking pictures. There might even be interviews. Would there be? She had no idea how big this event was. She had googled it and found out it was a yearly dinner and Jon had attended before. She had found all the info except interviews.
“Nervous?” He took her hand, she was nervously fidgeting both of them and picking at her nails and the tender skin around it, and held it in his lap.
“Yeah. Are there going to be news reporters?” She didn’t wait for an answer and went on. “Either way, it’s public, after this they’ll know of us, it’ll change it all.” Melody said hurriedly, almost tripping over her words. “And cameras there’ll be photos everywhere! Oh my God, on Facebook, they’ll all know, they’ll hate me for it.”
“Relax, no one is going to hate you.”
She ignored him. “There are going to be so many people!”
“Melody relax.” He said a bit more stern. “I’m here with you. I’ll hold your hand through this, right next to you. Please relax, it’s going to be fine.”
Melody nodded and took a deep breath. He would be there for her, he wouldn’t let her out of his sight, he’d be right there. She relaxed, she was still nervous, a little less now that she felt comforted.
He held her hand for the rest of the ride.

“We’re here.” He said when the car stood still. “Are you ready?” He asked when the driver opened the door next to him. He waited to hear she was ready and Melody nodded. “You’re gonna have to let go of my hand so I can get out.” He picked her hand up and kissed it. Melody let him go. “You’re fine.” He said before turning around and getting out of the car. He stood up and turned around to hold a hand out to help her out of the car.
There weren’t any cameras here but Melody saw them a bit further in front of a huge screen with the event’s name and their sponsors.
Jon took her hand again and they walked towards the cameras. “It’s just cameras, smile and go on.”
“Fake smiles like you usually do?”
“You notice those? I won’t be fake smiling tonight, I got you here, I’m happy.”
Melody smiled.
“Perfect.”
What did that mean? Did he like her smile or was he glad she listened to him when he told her to smile?

Cameras started flashing, bright lights that were almost blinding. She understood why he always wore sunglasses. She tried to smile, making it look natural. The photographers were shouting questions over the sounds of their cameras at him. About the tour, charities and tonight. “Who did you bring?”
“Melody.” Jon said, they were at the end of the walkway and a microphone popped up in his face asking him about the concert tour. He was at a charity event and didn’t want to talk about work now. He gave a short answer and walked past the interviewer.

Finally they got to their table. It was still empty. They sat down at the chairs that had his name on a card on their plates.
“How bad was it?” He asked when they sat down.
“It was fine.” She answered short; annoyed he hadn’t introduced her as his girlfriend or even a friend. He had said her name.

A man joined their table. Melody thought she recognized him but couldn’t put a name on him. He sat down and Jon greeted him, again he introduced her just by her name. The man introduced himself as Jimmy Fallon and left again to say hi to other people he knew. Jon started explaining what he did but Melody didn’t care. Just Melody? This was so confusing. He was taking her on a vacation, he stayed at her house for a whole week but she was just Melody?

More people came to say hi but every time he introduced her as Melody, not once did he mention friend or even girlfriend.
“Excuse me. I’ll be right back.” She didn’t wait and got up from her chair walking towards the washrooms. She needed a second to herself. She felt tears well up in her eyes, wiped them away and walked faster.

She was glad to see the stalls were complete rooms when she walked in. There weren’t any openings at the top or the bottom. She preferred them being all closed up and went inside, put the lid down, put her face in her hands and started crying.

“Jon, is Melody alright? I just saw her go into the washrooms crying.” Jimmy said when he came back to the table.
“Fuck, what? Where?” Jon said surprised and worried at the same time. He wondered what had changed her mood.
Jimmy pointed into the directions of the washrooms.
