Chapter 16

Melody enjoyed sitting there with Jon. Richie was still playing his guitar; she enjoyed his guitar playing which made it an even more perfect moment. She wasn’t sure how long they sat there.

“I think we should start getting ready.” Richie said putting his guitar down.

Jon checked his watch. “Yeah, you’re right.” Jon moved his arm from Melody’s shoulder and gave her a hand to help her up. He said goodbye to Richie and took Melody back to his dressing room.
“I didn’t get you any dinner.” Jon said as they walked outside. “Do you want one of those yucky tuna salad sandwiches? I can ask someone to get one for you.”

It was already 7.30 and Melody decided to pass and wait until after the concert. Jon agreed and went to change.

When he came back out he was wearing a leather shirt and tight jeans.
“Ok then, you look hot in that too.” Melody said smiling.
Jon flashed his beautiful white smile and grinned. He pulled her closer again and kissed her.

“We should be going.” He said as he let her go, Melody nodded and they went to the stage. The same crew member brought Melody to the same place she was in yesterday and the band came on stage.

This time they opened with Blood on Blood and Melody just knew the concert would be great. She started singing along from the first song on and noticed her throat still hurt from last nights singing. Again Jon let Richie sing Lay Your Hands on me. After Richie’s song Jon showed up behind the diamond ring again and played What Do You Got and Bed of Roses before letting the others join. Melody couldn’t believe it when they played Love for Sale. She loved that song. This time Jon was wearing a white shirt with a waist coat over it, Melody melted when she saw it. He had remembered. When Jon starting singing Love’s the Only Rule Melody noticed he kept looking back at her, she couldn’t help but smile when he did. She was sure he was singing it to her.
Again when Jon got his maracas Melody knew the concert would be over in a few songs. Just like before, she felt sad it would be. It had been such an amazing concert she didn’t want it to stop even though she was sure she would have no voice by tomorrow. That couldn’t stop her from singing all the songs though.

Jon said good night to the audience and they all left the stage. The whole audience started screaming and Melody joined in until they came back.

They started the encores with Dry County. Another song Melody was happy about they played. It was one of her favourites and it was always great to hear favourites live. They played 3 other songs before leaving the stage again. Melody started looking around to see if that crew member would show up to take her back backstage when again deafening screams began and the band came out for a second encore.

This time Melody noticed Jon looking over at her while playing In These Arms. It made her relax a bit; maybe he really was ok with just having her in his arms. She really hoped he was and maybe Richie was right and it wasn’t all about sex. Jon finished the show with Just Older and this time Melody did see the staff member walking towards her when the band left the stage.

She followed him back to Jon’s dressing room. Just like last night he knocked on the door for her and left. Jon called her in and she walked inside just as he was putting on a clean shirt. He got his stuff together. Took his bags, and hers too.
“Come on, we can go to Wendy’s to eat.” He said as he walked her back outside.

Wendy’s sounded good enough to Melody and they left the building and met Chris by the car. Jon gave all his bags to Chris and got in the car after Melody. Jon told Chris to drive them home and stop at Wendy’s on the way there.
They ordered a couple of burgers and fries with drinks and only a few minutes later they were home. Chris opened the door for them and retrieved the bags from the trunk. He handed them to Jon and said goodbye.

Jon and Melody continued inside and went up to the penthouse with the elevator. Melody was amazed again when they stepped out of the elevator into the kitchen. The windows all around the rooms really were breath taking. It was pitch dark outside now and the lights of the city made it beautiful.

“I still love the view you have here, it’s beautiful.” Melody said as she walked closer to the living room windows.

“Yeah, it’s really nice. When the warmer weather starts, it’s even better on the terrace.” Jon explained and put the food on the coffee table. He turned on a news channel on TV and sat down. “Come here before the food’s even colder.”

Melody turned around and sat down next to him and grabbed a burger. Jon was watching the news while eating but when Melody started telling him about the concert he turned his attention to her. She told him about the concert and which parts she loved most about it. He was glad she had a great time. They finished their dinners and Jon started flipping channels as Melody moved closer to him.

Jon gave up on the TV and threw the remote back on the coffee table. Jon took Melody’s face in his hand and brought her closer to kiss her. He ran his tongue over her bottom lip before taking it between his and kissing her again. He gently pushed her back on the couch and ran his hand up under her top. He broke the kiss so he could take her top off and threw it over the back of the couch. Melody didn’t wait and pulled his shirt up; he put his arms up so she could take it off. Jon kissed her neck and shoulders and reached his hand up to cup her breast. He reached behind her to open her bra and took it off for her. Melody started fumbling with the buttons of Jon’s jeans while Jon kissed a trail down to her breast before taking her nipple into his mouth. She thought Lori was right, why not? Even though it seemed more romantic to her to wait for next week, she wanted to.

Jon stood up to take his jeans off and Melody sat up and took his dick in her hands, gently rubbing from tip to base and this time Jon let out a sigh. Melody could feel him getting harder and moved closer just as Jon stopped her.
“Not like that.” Jon said.
Melody looked confused, “what?” she asked him.

“I don’t want our first time to be blowjob, just wait, okay?” He explained and pushed Melody back on the couch. He reached for the button of her jeans and Melody lifted her hips so he could take them off. He reached back up and started kissing her neck again. He kissed a trail down to her belly and was ready to pull down Melody’s panties when she stopped him.
“Jon.” She sounded too worried when she said it, he looked up and saw tears in her eyes. He let go and sat up next to her.

“What? What’s wrong? Did I do something you didn’t want?” He asked worried.
“No, no, not at all.” Melody said and hesitated to say the rest as she wiped away her tears.

Jon kissed her cheek and asked: “Then what’s wrong?”
“I got my period.” Melody said and felt tears coming to her eyes again.

This time Jon was faster to wipe them away. “We don’t have to do anything, we can just do this.” He said as he kissed her cheeks again before kissing her mouth.

Melody felt relieved again and kissed him back, she ran her hands over his belly up to his chest where she could feel his heart beat. She didn’t know what but it made her feel something. “Let’s go to bed.” She said and Jon nodded, helping her off the couch and walked her to his bedroom. They got in bed and Jon pulled her close to him and cupped her breast again, circling her nipple as he kissed the back of her neck. They wished each other a good night and Melody realized what his heart beat made her think, just like she felt his dick poking her back, it made it real. She really was in bed with him, she wasn’t dreaming.
